I had such a good time photographing you two, even though the mosquitoes nearly ate us alive! Thank you so much for trusting me to capture your love story and wedding day. I can't wait. You two are so sweet together!

I love engagement sessions in general because I get to photograph two people who are so in love. I feel so blessed to be able to share in people's lives if only for a short time. And, it's amazing what I can learn about people in just a few hours. I hope these photographs tell you a little about Deborah and Lalo and their amazing love for one another. I got to see what a really cute couple they are, as well as how passionate they are toward each other. Their photos are so sexy! :) Don't you think?!?!

I tried some new things with my processing for a few so I hope you enjoy them! I know I'm showing practically a third of the gallery too, but I couldn't help myself. :)

{Double the cuteness}

I have to admit that I was a bit nervous photographing not one, but two six-week old babies at the same time. But these little brothers were such sweethearts and made it so much fun for me. So I have to say, I now love photographing twins. Aren't the two of them together the cutest thing you've ever seen? I just can't get enough of Mr. R and Mr. H! Happy Mother's Day to their mommy who looks amazing after having twins! Enjoy your sneak peek...

{Made my day}

I came home from a long work week and super stressed about the busy weekend I have ahead of me and my sweet sis-in-law sent me chocolate covered strawberries for Mother's Day. It was the sweetest thing and totally made my day. Thank you so much Perla! ;) After devouring two of them in a matter of minutes, I realized that I forgot to take pictures of them... :) I'm heeding the note on the box...."best consumed within 48 hours of receiving them." Not a problem! :)

Notice the little visitor...I was only able to snap a few pictures before she showed up!









Like a little vulture, she was! Sometimes mommies just don't want to share. But that face was just so pitiful....

{Sweet shower}

I just wanted to share some pictures from the lingerie shower this weekend since I don't have any sessions to post. I had such a blast planning this with some friends and have to admit how much I secretly adore event planning. I love the details and that's what parties are all about. It was my first party at our new home too and my little house did not disappoint! Don't pay attention to my bare walls...hee hee. I can use the excuse that we "just moved in" for at least a year right? ;)

{Her pretty}

Her "pretty"....That's what she calls anything that resembles a tutu or pettiskirt. Some nights she even sleeps with one on because she refuses to take it off. So, I've capitalized on this love of all things girly...She gets to wear the pretty while mommy takes pictures. What a deal! 

Just sharing a couple because it will be a few days before I have anything new to post. I'm getting ready for the shower I'm hosting for a friend on Saturday. I'll post pics of our "sweet" event after the fact.

Blogger is doing weird things to the color on my pictures lately....but I love that little smirk.

{For the brides}

We didn't have much luck with sessions this weekend. The babies (yes, TWO...twins!) weren't feeling well and we got rained out of our e-session yesterday...so I thought I would share this site to give all of my brides some inspiration.
