When N & P wanted their engagement session at the beach I was so excited because I think South Padre Island is an awesome backdrop and it was even better that it's a place that is meaningful to them, that they love to spend time at. Gorgeous mama and new gown for mamas

Thanks so much to my gorgeous expecting friend Melinda for coming over today to snap some quick photos in the new gown I now have available for expecting and new mommies. As you can see, the gown makes for beautiful maternity photos. It can also be used during newborn sessions for mommy and newborn photos! If you are expecting and would like a maternity or newborn session, contact me soon as I have extremely limited availability the next few months. And, right now anyone who books a newborn session at the same time as their maternity session will receive a complimentary set of 25 custom press printed birth announcements to announce the arrival of your little one.

Senior Rep-Meet Mr. "A"

I had the opportunity to photograph Mr. "A" this past weekend and I have to admit I really enjoyed the laid back feel of the session since I'm so used to chasing little ones around. He's joining my team of 2009 Senior Spokesmodels and is from Sharyland High School. He plays football too...if you couldn't guess! ;) I tried some funky processing on a few of these just for fun.

Thanks so much "A" for being such a great sport with the mosquitoes and location changes. I really enjoyed hanging out with you and your mom. I hope you like your peek!

Fun to be One!

I can't get over how adorable Mr. H is! Don't you just love his red hair? :) He had a busy day yesterday because not only did he have his photo session, but his FIRST birthday party too! So, he had cake TWICE in one day! :)  You guys are the cutest little family! I'm so glad that we could schedule this session before your big move. Thanks so much for dealing with the heat, humidity and thousands of attacking mosquitoes! Here's a little peek for you...

These photos were taken at The Feather Inn Bed and Breakfast in Weslaco. What a gem! If you haven't been, it would make a great late summer or early fall weekend escape.

Family Session with Sweet Miss S

I was so excited that we finally scheduled Janie's photo session that she received as a gift from her hubby! Isn't Mario the sweetest husband to give such a thoughtful gift for Mother's Day?! If my husband were to read my blog, I'd tell him to take notes! ;) 

Rarely do I find a 2 year old who opens up to me so quickly, but little Miss S jumped out of her truck and gave me a big ol' hug within seconds! Two year olds are always a challenge because they are on the go and are so inquisitive, but I love that they keep me on my toes! She is such a sweetie and was a trooper in the heat and humidity! I think your next purchase needs to be a pond for the backyard! ;) Hope you enjoy this peek while I get your gallery up!

 

Out of the office

I will be out of the office Sunday, July 20 through Wednesday, July 23. I will have no access to e-mail during this time and am not sure of my availability to be reached via cell phone during this time either. All e-mails and voicemails will be answered after I return on Thursday. And because I realize no post is really fun without a photo, here's a peek of the holiday card designs.
